Duncan resumes passport clinics Aug. 9

CORNWALL — Local Member of Parliament Eric Duncan (Stormont-Dundas-South Glengarry) will resume hosting a series of local passport clinics during the week of August 9th to August 13th. The clinics, organized by appointment only, is an opportunity for residents to apply for, or renew, their Canadian passports in one-stop with a photographer on site.

Funding approved for Newspaper Digitization reserve

CORWNALL – After $200,000 spent digitizing old newspapers and photographs in SDG Counties, council approved an additional $50,000 reserve to continue the work after 2021. Morrisburg roundabout to be finished before end of year

MORRISBURG — Local dignitaries officially turned the sod on the $4.9-million Morrisburg roundabout — construction of which is already well underway. The roundabout and its associated streetscaping components are intended to ease traffic congestion at the South Dundas junction of County roads 31 and 2, while improving aesthetics at the busy intersection.
